In plain language. Today this website uses one small first-party cookie, and only if you choose a language: it remembers your choice. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics. If that ever changes, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything non-essential runs.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser, pixels and tags (small images or scripts that record that a page or email was opened), software development kits, and device or browser identifiers. Together we call them “cookies” in this policy unless the difference matters.
Cookies can be first-party (set by the website you are visiting) or third-party (set by another organization, for example an advertising or analytics provider). They can be session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay for a set period or until you delete them.
2. Our approach
We keep the Website simple and respectful of your privacy. We use only what is needed to make it work and to remember choices you make. As of the effective date, the Website:
- sets no advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies;
- runs no third-party analytics, heat-mapping or session-replay tools;
- does not embed social-media widgets or third-party trackers; and
- does not sell or share your personal information.

Our hosting and network providers may set a strictly necessary security or load-balancing cookie or process request logs to keep the Website available and safe from abuse. We list any such cookie here if it is used.
Note on fonts. Requesting fonts from a third party discloses your IP address to that party. If you prefer not to make that connection, you can use a browser setting or extension that blocks third-party font requests; the Website will then display in a fallback system font.

5. Consent and your choices
Why there is no cookie banner today. Because we use only strictly necessary and user-requested functional technologies, current European and UK rules do not require your consent for them, so we do not show a consent banner.
If we add non-essential cookies. Before any analytics, advertising or other non-essential technology runs, we will (a) update this policy, and (b) where the law requires consent, show a consent banner that lets you accept or reject each category with equal prominence and the same number of clicks, does not pre-select any non-essential category, does not block the Website if you refuse, and lets you change or withdraw your choice at any time through a persistent link. We will record your choice and ask again no later than 12 months later, or sooner if our use of cookies changes materially.
Opt-out preference signals. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, for the browser or device that sends it. The Website does not change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” settings, because it does not track you across websites.
6. How to control or delete cookies
You can control cookies through your browser. You can usually see the cookies stored, delete some or all of them, block third-party cookies, or block cookies from specific websites. Instructions vary by browser:

If you delete or block the elysium-lang cookie and local-storage entry, the Website will simply open in the language of the address you visit, and you may need to select your language again. Blocking cookies does not otherwise affect the Website’s content.
7. Email and text-message technologies
Some of our emails may include a small image (a “tracking pixel”) or links that record that a message was opened or a link was clicked, so that we can understand which content is useful. Where the law requires consent for this technology, we obtain it. You can prevent it by disabling automatic image loading in your email application, by using privacy features in your email client, or by unsubscribing. See our Email Policy.
8. Legal framework
We design this policy to meet the requirements that apply to us and our visitors, including Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as implemented in EU member states, the EU General Data Protection Regulation for consent standards, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and Telecommunications Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Invasion of Privacy Act, and the comprehensive privacy laws of other U.S. states, Canada, Brazil and other countries, together with guidance from regulators such as the European Data Protection Board, France’s CNIL, and the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes or the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows when. If a change requires your consent, we will ask for it before the change takes effect.
